PES 2019 Demo: 7 Instant Reactions You Need To Know

1. You'll Get More Out Of Playing Online

Exhibition matches in PES 2019's demo are fairly hollow once you start figuring out the best ways to unpick defences and learn to exploit dodgy beta CPU. Expect that to change in the full game when other variables (fatigue, team chemistry etc) start coming into play. For now, you're much better off testing your skills against other human players online.

Matches are longer for a start, and there's greater urgency to pick the right pass or throw that defender into a slide just as a rival attacker shoots. Also, the demo has only been around for a day or so and already there are enough players to keep things ticking; in the handful of games played before writing this article, none took longer than a minute to set up.

That's a damn good sign for Konami's servers.

Everything ran at a buttery-smooth pace too. No glitches, no bugs and no lag. Playing against a pal and experimenting with all the gameplay quirks to see what's new and what's the same as before is, by far, the most fun you'll have with the demo.

Have you played the PES 2019 demo yet? If so, what are your thoughts? Let us know down in the comments section below!
