7. Planetside 2
Yes, Planetside 2 has already been out on the PC for a few months, but what better way to showcase the PS4's new online capabilities than to feature a re-mastered version of the free-to-play MMOFPS? Granted, getting people to part with £45 for a game that's available for free on the PC might be a tough sell, but given how Microsoft decisively beat Sony in the current gen's online race, Sony really needs to hit the ground running to prove that the multiplayer and social aspects of the new PSN are well up to standard. Planetside 2's frantic combat and possibility to host battles featuring thousands of players would do well to show off the technical capabilities of the PS4, particularly if the graphics have been enhanced from the PC version. Consoles still have a hard time proving that their multiplayer can compete with that of a PC, so including this game would go a long way to restoring some faith.
