PlayStation 4 Announcement: 10 New Features You Should Be Excited About
2. Watch Dogs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_SvdfDvPZBU Ubisoft's Watch Dogs was easily the show-stealer of last year's E3, shaming Nintendo's Wii U presentation, with many speculating the game might end up being a next-gen title. Oh, how right they were, as it was announced tonight that Watch Dogs will be released on the PS4, before we were treated to a new demo that showed off the game's fantastic gameplay mechanics. The demo, set during the day, shows our protagonist walking the streets, with the ability to seemingly interact with just about every technological object around him. He steals money from a guy via an atm, uses bollards to stop a police car, and manipulates objects in the environment to stop a perp in his tracks. Easily one of the most ambitious games to come down the pipe in some time, Watch Dogs will reportedly be in our hands before the end of the year, suggesting that with the "Holiday 2013" release date for the PS4, it'll be a launch title for the platform. Though we won't expect the game to show off the platform's true potential given that it's also launching for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and almost definitely Xbox 720, expect it to be a game-changer creatively.
