Another game that, strictly speaking, isn't for the Playstation 5 as it's releasing for PS4 this year. But still, Gods and Monsters is a supposedly substantial storybook adventure game brought to you by the team responsible for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Given its striking visuals and predicted critical reception, it's almost guaranteed to be a big launch title for the Playstation 5.

It's also, if nothing else, got the most enticing marketing blurb I've ever read. SAVE THE GODS: The gods have fallen victim to the most deadly creature in Greek mythology, Typhon (oh no!). WIELD THE POWER OF GODS: The gods of Olympus have given you special powers (wow!). CONFRONT MYTHOLOGICAL BEASTS: Face off against mythical beasts like Gorgons, Hydras, and Cyclopes (holy smokes!). LIVE IN A PAINTERLY WORLD: Discover a beautiful and artistic open world full of surprises in this heroic journey (lol cute).

So, yeah, Clash of The Animal Crossing, except you occasionally have to go and cave a snake-woman's skull in rather than watch K.K. Slider at the cafe.
