PlayStation State Of Play July 2021: 5 Biggest Announcements
1. Extended Deathloop Gameplay
Deathloop looks like so much fun.
A game where you have to keep trying the same missions over and over again until you get it done perfectly sounds really appealing. The idea of finally being able to execute your plan flawlessly after many failed attempts is a surefire way to make you feel like a badass.
State of Play offered nine minutes of gameplay which showed off systems like the reprise ability which allows you to retry twice without going all the way back to the beginning. This seems like a great way to alleviate some of the frustration that naturally comes from having to try all over again after a simple mistake.
The trailer confirmed that you can also save some of your weapons. This will allow you to make some progress even if you’re dying continuously.
The game just looks so good and this trailer really highlights the fact that this could easily end up being many peoples game of the year.
Deathloop is coming to PS5 and PC on September 14th. Below is the new gameplay trailer.
