I’m terrified that whoever wrote this has a horribly malnourished Slakoth in their basement. Three leaves a day?! That Slakoth must be sleeping so much to conserve energy from the lack of food. Honestly though, let’s look at the facts. Slakoth weighs 24kg.
A single leaf of lettuce contains only 4 calories of nutrition. Petnet.org recommends 17 calories per pound of weight for a medium-sized, inactive dog weighing around the same as our poor Slakoth here.
That gives us a scientific, absolute minimum, low-ball estimate of 850 calories necessary per day for your Slakoth to maintain a healthy weight.
