10. Use Pinap Berries To Get Twice As Many Candies Per Pokémon

The bane of many peoples' lives - especially if they were trying to get 400 of the blighters to evolve a Magikarp - candies are how Pokemon GO ensures you don't get carried away with evolutions and overpowered gym teams.

Catching any pokemon will net you three candies as standard, but be on the lookout for newer Pinap Berries.

Unlike the standard Razz Berries that grant health/CP in gyms or improve the chance of catching something, Pinaps actually double your candy pickup.

This means you'll get six candies per catch, no matter the creature. How's 50 Squirtles for a Blastoise sound, vs 100? Or 67 Magikarps instead of 132?

Much, much better.
