Pokémon GO: 8 Important Fan Complaints Niantic Must Address

5. Add The Option To Vote For PokéStops

If Niantic's internal matrix messed up and allocated a PokéStop to a Holocaust Museum (which actually happened), yes, by all means address and remove it.

However, since the developers opened the floodgates for any and all people to file a complaint about a Stop and get it removed (some that the owners don't actually want happening), numbers have been falling rapidly, and we need a happy medium.

Perhaps a voting system? There are already huge problems for players living in rural areas as it's only towns and cities that have decent numbers of Gyms and Stops, so why not implement a vote?

You could have a say on whether a landmark or specific place should or should not be a PokéStop, with people in any given area logging on to either agree or disagree on any pending choices.

If a licensed proprietor approved the option to keep the Stop, it would overrule the majority, whereas everyone else could pile in and help populate their local areas as one.

Just you and a handful of others in a town that are playing? Vote to get a Stop and you'll be sorted without having to travel. Everyone's a winner.
