Pokémon Sword & Shield: 7 Reasons To Be HYPED

4. It's On The Switch

Not only are there heaps of new features coming to this new entry, it is on the most powerful console to play Pokémon on yet. The hardware of the Nintendo Switch puts it leagues ahead of the 3DS in terms of power. This will allow for the most aesthetically pleasing Pokémon experience we have had the pleasure of playing.

From the most recent trailers we’ve seen, the Galar region looks to be the most developed and packed with enjoyment to date. From The Wild Area to the sweeping cityscapes, the Switch seems to be pumping at maximum capacity to make this world feel alive.

The added bonus of the Switch is that we don’t need to sacrifice the ability to take a main series Pokémon game on the go for this new power. Trainers can go between docked mode for the full, graphically fantastic, experience of a main Pokémon game on a home console for the first time ever or keep it classic and stick to the Switch’s more than exemplary handheld mode.
