Pokémon Sword & Shield DLC: Every New And Returning Pokémon (That We Know)

After all that hand-wringing over Pokémon Sword & Shield excising more than half of all known extant pokéfellas - the infamous 'Dexit' - Nintendo have only gone and revealed that 200 of the missing blighters are set to be restored. And what's more, you'll get to pay for the privilege! Isn't that just awesome?

It isn't, but we were told it is anyway. Revealed as part of the company's latest Pokémon Direct, new Gen VIII expansion content - Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra - will see many familiar favourites make a comeback - although some look a little less familiar than we remember. Can you say 'Galarian Legendary Birds?'

There's also a handful of brand new Pokémonsters, marking the first time fresh species have been introduced through DLC.

Obviously, Nintendo didn't let slip every pocket pal set to populate the new locations, but we did get a sneak peek at a fair few. These are all the ones we could find.
