4. Love Rat Gets Caught Cheating
New Yorker Evan Scribner had his infidelity rumbled by Pokemon Go when he foolishly decided to catch some creatures while at his ex-girlfriend's house.
He returned home and his current girlfriend realised where he'd been, and when Evan didn't have a satisfactory explanation, she naturally wasn't too happy.
Evan said of the incident, "She found out last night at my house and hasn’t contacted me since then", which really says it all.
As cheaters get complacent and absent-mindedly forget the geolocation aspect of the game, we're likely to hear many similar stories coming out over the next few weeks, at least until the cheaters get wise and up their deception game.
