PS VR: Ranking All Launch Games From Worst To Best

12. The Brookhaven Experiment

Developer Phosphor hopes you've got your wits about you in The Brookhaven Experiment - it's the only thing that'll keep you alive. Well, that and a trusty shotgun. There's always a trusty shotgun.

Bringing survival horror to VR is always going to get results - strapping something to your face that puts you in the game is the perfect way to scare the crap out of people. The Brookhaven Experiment sees you fighting off wave after wave of zombies - sorry, monsters - with little more than a gun and a temperamental flashlight. It seems to take cues from the absolutely terrifying Outlast by using the darkness against you, but it also keeps you on your toes by putting a weapon in your hand.

Although you're rooted to the spot, you can move in full 360 degrees, allowing you to take out any monsters that might be sneaking up behind you. Whereas Here They Lie looks to be more of slow burn, The Brookhaven Experiment is full throttle, in-your-face scares.
