PS VR: Ranking All Launch Games From Worst To Best
7. Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
Originally criticised for taking the Until Dawn license and turning it into an on-rails shooter, Supermassive Games have managed to create what looks to be one of the most compelling VR launch titles. This horror game is different from both The Brookhaven Experiment and Here They Lie - it's a fast-paced shooter that places you in a minecart and takes you on a terrifying stop-and-pop journey through a series of haunted locales.
Effectively a House of the Dead-style lightgun shooter, Rush of Blood makes great use of the immersive powers of VR by placing the player right in the middle of the action. You'd better be ready to blast the oncoming and often erratic enemies, as well as dodge numerous environmental hazards and traps. While the allure of Rush of Blood might run out after one or two playthroughs, for only £15.99, it's hard to complain.
There's also a Platinum trophy too, which is great for completionists and general trophy hunters out there. Immensely atmospheric and at the same time, breath-taking, expect jump scares aplenty - but this time, you can blast the hell out of them.
