21. Here They Lie

Here They Lie looks creepy, not gonna lie to you. Tangentlemen's horror game looks to take cues from games like P.T. and Layers of Fear, using atmosphere and the environment to freak you out. It appears to be a walking simulator, and while that's no bad thing, the replay value may very well be limited by having experienced the scares once already.

Having said that, Here They Lie's world looks intriguing and frightening at the same time. Some of its masked denizens ooze a BioShock vibe and there's a general classiness to the scares (though I'd definitely come prepared for a jump scare or two).

Here They Lie probably isn't going to appeal to everyone - not everyone wants a heart attack on launch day. Here They Lie doesn't look to be bringing much new to the table, but for those who are into horror and fancy some environmental storytelling, this could be a winner.
