Ratchet & Clank is an odd game. The original series is over 10 years old at this point, so you'd expect this new entry to cater to adults - the people who were alive to enjoy the first trilogy when it launched. Well, scratch that; Ratchet & Clank is a game that's aimed at children, with its cute characters, simple story, and ridiculously easy gameplay loop very clearly designed to make the titular duo the next big animated hit with families and kids.

On the bright side, this means that the platinum trophy is as easy as they come. There's all the usual stuff you'd expect here - collectibles, platforming sections, puzzles - but none of it is particularly difficult. There aren't any trophies that you can miss, so all you have to do is play through the game, enjoy it, then use planet select to mop up the remaining few you have left.

Just one tip: there's a silver trophy for upgrading every weapon in the game to the maximum level, and to upgrade a weapon, you have to use it on enemies. So, to prevent a ton of grinding, make sure you only use weapons that aren't fully upgraded already. If you stick to one weapon for the entire game, you'll have to level up all the others by farming kills at spawn points, which isn't much fun.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
