PS4: 10 Missing PlayStation Franchises That Must Return

Insomniac may be hard at work on the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man, but one of their greatest franchises really needs to return sometime after.

Although many point to Killzone as PlayStation's principle first-person shooter franchise, Resistance's inventive weaponry, genuine character and fantastic world-building makes it a much more appetising series overall. Killzone already had a chance this generation (one which it arguably flubbed), opening the way for Resistance to show us how it's done.

The only problem with having Resistance return is somehow getting Insomniac on board to develop. With so many different franchises under their belt, it's highly unlikely that they'd decide to go back to one of their least recognised ones.

Here's hoping that another suitable developer can take over for Insomniac and give Resistance the return it, and we, deserve. Fighting the Chimera in 4K would be a dream come true.
