1. It's Primary Function Is Gaming
There's no two ways about it. The PS4 is meant for gaming. Sure it may bring back old features like the ability to play blu-ray movies, store and play your favorite songs, or even put together an album of your latest family pictures, but when it comes down to what it was built for, its obvious that the PlayStation 4's primary function was to game. Nothing more, nothing less. This is the ultimate reason why the PS4 will beat the X1 in the console war. Simply because the X1, despite having all the hardware for gaming, is not meant for it. It is rather meant to be an all-round multimedia device. Something to be put in every home so that you can talk to your TV, so to speak (no pun intended). What Sony has done, was to look at the PS3, chuck out all the things that didn't work, improve on the things that did, and produce a true next-generation console, that gamers can rely on for the next 8 years or so. I don't know about you, but I'm convinced. The PlayStation 4 is the way to go.
