PS4: 15 Cool Tips, Tricks & Secrets You Must Try

8. Use Your PS Vita As Another Controller

As Dualshock 4's are incredibly expensive, not only do you have the option to use Share Play to get someone else into your game, but if you happen to have bought the Vita (Sony's third revision of the original PSP) it can be used locally too. Dive into the Settings and then into PS Vita Connection Settings, where you'll be able to tick boxes for both Remote Play - the beaming of the PS4's feed onto the Vita's screen - and the 'Direct' connection that binds them through Wi-fi. Hit 'Add Device' and you'll get another code, which after going into your PS Vita's 'PS4 Link' app you can enter, and the two will sync up. The Vita will then be your primary (Player 1) controller as the Dualshock will go to sleep, but if you want to play local multiplayer, simply turn it back on and instead of overriding the Vita, it'll let you sign into another account, the PS4 treating them both as regular controllers. Very cool indeed.
