What is it about Sony and Trophies/achievements that they just can't seem to get right? Across both generations now, we've seen Trophy integration become a major push as they've tried to get in on Microsoft's Achievement mindshare, but on PlayStation getting access to these things and tracking them in-game is a nightmare. Okay sure, that's a bit hyperbolic, but it stands to reason that the vast majority of gamers don't prod the Home button when they see an achievement pop, simply because of the "Please wait" loading bar that awaits on the other side. Even on the Xbox 360 you could bring up an instant achievement list within seconds that was tracking your progress, and Microsoft then made that a priority by letting you 'Snap' this through a side-window onto any game on the Xbox One. For all the back n' forth of stealing of ideas that goes on between the two major companies, it's about time Sony made Trophies an integral part of the gaming experience, alongside ensuring they're viewable offline for every user, too.
