PS5: 10 Awesome Features You Forgot It Had
3. Presets For Difficulty, Graphics, Camera, Subtitles & More
Beyond the ability to customise your controller settings at a system-wide level, the PS5 also allows you to tweak a variety of presets to apply to all games.
Back in the Save Data and Game/App Settings menu, you can set the default difficulty, whether you'd like games to start in performance or resolution mode, your favoured camera angle, turn on subtitles, tinker with audio, and even permanently invert you camera.
This is something that's easy to take for granted once you've set it up, but it's a low-key game-changer in terms of ensuring that all your preferred settings are set in stone before you even launch a new game.
Considering how many games don't let you turn subtitles on until you've sat through an opening cutscene, for instance, this is as much a God-tier accessibility feature as it is merely convenient for many.
