1. Horizon II: Forbidden West Is Announced

Sony's "one more thing" before revealing the PS5 itself was the announcement trailer for the long-awaited sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon II: Forbidden West.

The beautiful trailer showed off not only a returning Aloy but also some of the game's lush new environments, which will see her travelling west to a far-future America.

Though the trailer doesn't always mark a clear distinction between cinematics, cutscenes, and actual gameplay, it's clear that the game's set to be an early visual marvel for the PS5.

Sadly there's no word yet on a release date, but given that it's reportedly been in the works for over three years already, a 2021 release seems realistic.
