PUBG: 5 Reasons Why It's The Best Battle Royale Game
4. The Gunplay
Quintessentially PUBG thrives on its gunplay. With either mouse or controller, the guns feel alive, as if the player is never truly in control, an untameable beast that needs very little encouragement to unleash death upon your enemies.
Yet, PUBG gunplay is so much more than that, it’s
measured, tactical, and requires skill and coordination to master. Anyone with
minor experience can pick up the latest Call Of Duty and not embarrass
themselves, it is too respectful. PUBG eats these players up for breakfast and then asks for seconds.
On console Battlefield 1 mollycoddled noobs into a false sense of security, making them feel like Rambo as the aim assist dragged them from one target to the next. It was senseless, it was easy, familiar and as a result, it was boring. PUBG laughed viciously as console noobs attempted to eliminate their targets, with such poor aim that they couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat.
That was what made PUBG so superb at its initial release on PC and console, it was rewarding to those who practised, who suffered its imperfections and persevered, rolling onto countless Chicken Dinners.
