Rainbow Six Siege: 10 Most Important Operators Players Need To Learn

7. Doc

There are two types of players when it comes to those that play as Doc on defence: those that play him as a healer, buffing teammates around the objective, or those that like to aggravate attackers by picking them off from a window as they spawn.

The latter is likely more a thing of the past as Doc has recently had his magnifying ACOG scope removed from his primary weapon, the MP5, making him less desirable for those that want to take part in the art of the controversial ‘spawn-peek’.

Those that like to play Doc as Ubisoft intended, buffing teammates to keep them in the fight longer, will know how valuable he can be to a defending team. Players will need to be aware of what’s going on around them if they are to be effective in this role, though when deployed properly, Doc can be the difference between a win or a loss. He is even capable of reviving himself from a downed state if he still has some uses of his gadget remaining. It doesn't happen all too often but when you witness a Doc revive himself to comeback and win a round it truly is a thing of beauty.

Doc is an easy to pick up but difficult to master operator and one that every player should be comfortable in picking if the situation calls for it.
