Vendrick, the man you search after for the entire game only to find him hollow and mad... and naked. Truly a tragic story. It is quite a poignant moment to find him just dragging his sword around not hostile, but the fight is pretty poor. He can do some pretty high damage and he has the unique mechanic in which the number of Giant's souls you have impacts how much damage you do. In the end, his fight reflects his hollow state, but he doesn't have that epic impact Gwyn (was also hollow) did. But the atmosphere before the fight is palpable and harrowing.
