25. Nashandra

The final boss of the game (before Aldia was added) Nashandra was a letdown. Where the first game had that emotional and impactful fight against Gwyn, Dark Souls 2 had a boss fight against a character that a lot of people didn't even recognise. She just comes out of nowhere acting as if she's meant to be a surprise, but unless you have studied the lore, it's lost on you. And then comes a pretty weak fight against a boss that can pose little to no challenge. Sure, she looks cool and has some intriguing lore, but as the culmination of a grand quest through Drangleic? Disappointing!
