A popular theme throughout Dark Souls 2 bosses is the idea of having multiple enemies. And this is perhaps one of the most annoying and pointless ones out there. The boss itself is a giant rat dog reminiscent of Sif from Dark Souls 1 but without the charm and endearing lore. However, the room has multiple smaller dogs that inflict toxic and if you can't kill them before the Authority arrives then you might as well kiss the attempt goodbye. It's obvious that they were trying to mimic Sif, but they forgot everything that made him exceptional and ended up with a boring, frustrating inconvenience of a boss.
