When it comes to events like Egg Scramble, one can only admire Mediatonic's blatantly chaotic approach to game design. Rather than require each team to participate in an Easter egg hunt, this here childhood delight is more of a bundle. Grab an egg, take it back to your 'nest', repeat.
Where the additional layer of intricacy comes into play here, is the ability for each team to steal eggs from their opponent's basket and add it to their total.
The opportunity for counterplay makes for interesting strategies, even if the majority boils down to first and second place preying on the weakest team. It might seem like the easy option, but ignore the presumed guaranteed losers at your own risk - they can, and will bounce back by mounting a coordinated invasion of your base.
