Ranking Every James Bond Video Game Worst To Best
17. 007 Legends (2012)
The latest Bond game sadly isn't much good, as despite its obviously nostalgic potential, it's a cheap, lazily thrown together mess.
The appeal of a Bond game which allows players to play as all six Bonds throughout speaks for itself - being released to coincide with the film series' 50th anniversary as it was - but it ultimately turned out a painfully generic, me-too FPS attempting to jump on the Call of Duty bandwagon.
Without making much of an effort to stitch its levels together, 007 Legends couldn't help but feel like a cynical shooter pumped out for an easy buck.
Ultimately, its critical and commercial failure caused developer Eurocom to fire 75% of its staff mere months after the game hit stores. Oof.
Somehow despite all this, it received an Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing nomination at the Writers Guild of America Awards. Embarrassing.
