Ranking Every Mass Effect Squadmate Ever

Drack is a decent character, and there’s bound to be people who feel he deserves to be much higher. When considering the Andromeda crew in isolation, you could make a strong argument that he deserves to be higher than fifth out of six.

But this isn’t considering Andromeda alone. This is taking a look at Mass Effect’s sprawling 25 strong stable, and there’s one clear character responsible for body slamming Drack into the bottom five; Wrex.

For all they seem to be simple blood thirsty space orcs, the Krogan are actual one of the most complex races in the galaxy. Wrex brought that idea into focus, while Grunt’s ‘tankbred’ nature gave us another angle on the species. Drack offers us nothing we’ve not seen before. His interactions with his family are endearing, his friendship with Vetra is cute, but that’s only enough to get him above the three guys that were always going to finish last.

It just feels like Andromeda didn’t know what to do with their Krogan squadmate. Drack is good in battle, entertaining enough to talk to but in all honesty the originality falls far short of the standards the franchise has set.
