Ranking Every PlayStation Classic Game From Worst To Best

While Tekken was the daddy of them all back in the 90s, there’s nothing wrong with the Classic offering an alternative in Battle Arena Toshinden. But where Marvel vs Capcom, Street Fighter Alpha or Mortal Kombat would’ve been met with excitement, Battle Arena Toshinden has been met with a shrug. Even its relatively unique weapon-based fighting is bettered by weapon wielders in the likes of Tekken and Soul Edge.

But enough with comparisons. Battle Arena Toshinden is good game in its own right, even if it is dwarfed by the competition. It did release very early in the original PlayStation’s cycle though, and was the first fighter to use both sidesteps and weapons in combat.

It's also a decent pick if you want to play a fighter with friends but you’re sick of them spamming Eddie.
