Insomniac absolutely slaying the PS4 exclusives list. Not only do they have a certain wall-crawler higher up, but this full-on remake of the original Ratchet & Clank should be considered gaming royalty.

The animation? Hollywood quality. Platforming itself? Tight as hell, with a hilariously enjoyable array of weapons to bust out if you just hold L2. Cutscenes? Treasurable, being this whole game is told in flashback, allowing for self-referential jokes and acknowledgements of just how big the franchise has become.

Essentially, Ratchet on PS4 is all the bombs n' bluster from the more third person shooter-focused instalments, brought back around to marry the series' original intentions. It's flawless from top to bottom, is such a looker, and you'll play the whole thing with a huge smile on your face.
