Ranking Every Tony Hawk Game From Worst To Best
11. Tony Hawk's American Sk8land
Next, we have a game that all but shattered the notion that handheld ports are always inherently bad.
Released in conjunction with its main series counterpart, American Wasteland, Tony Hawk's American Sk8land was a very well-made Nintendo DS game (a far cry from Motion.) It was fun, responsive, and had a decent amount of variety in terms of the stages you could play on and the skaters you could control.
It's apparent based on how well this game plays, as well as the surprising amount of depth it has for a handheld port, that this game had a substantial amount of care and quality control put into it. It's a fun handheld skateboarding game that is undoubtedly a worthy addition to the Tony Hawk series. And sure, the graphics and perspective aren't exactly awe-inspiring, but the fact remains that this is an exceptional game.
