Ranking Every Upcoming Star Wars Project - By Hype

There is plenty of hype on the internet about this prequel/spinoff series to Rogue One but not all of it can necessarily be called positive.

One of the biggest common complaints about Rogue One was that much of the film's characters felt underwhelming and forgettable, with very little focus given to their backstories, drives, and eventual demises.

Cassian Andor apparently is one such character that some fans feel this way about, and it's fair to say that they are not terribly enthusiastic about the prospect of a series focussing on the character's exploits appearing on Disney + in the next few years.

However, there are plenty of other fans who are excited by the prospect of a series exploring the more murky side of the Rebellion. Rogue One highlighted there were plenty of difficult, and even immoral decisions that the Rebels had to make during the fight against the Empire, especially in Cassian Andor's case. There are also plenty of fans clamouring for more Rebellion era content, and the return of fan favourite characters such as K2SO.

With Jason Bourne series writer Tony Gilroy now in place on the project, there is plenty of cause to believe that the Cassian Andor series will explore a world that's every bit as murky and amoral as fans are hoping for, and provide a very different series to the ones currently expected to appear on Disney's streaming platform.
