Ranking Summer 2016's Video Games From Worst To Best
6. Batman: The Telltale Series (Episode 1)
It's rare that a Telltale game actually manages to live up to the highs of 2012's The Walking Dead, but with Batman, they've truly outdone themselves. Taking place in its own universe but mixing together the likes of Nolan, Frank Miller and Affleck's versions into one, you play as both Bruce and Batman simultaneously.
As the playboy billionaire you need to attend dinner events and fancy galas, maintaining your cover - whilst also having the option to partake in conversations about "that masked bat vigilante" - and as Batman, well, you get to break some bones.
It's this duality - and the playing of Bruce at all - that gives Telltale's Batman a very unique and progressive edge, one that the Arkham games completely left out.
Batman: Arkham Knight made you feel like a veteran Bat protecting Gotham with every fibre of his being, but by doubling down on the freedom of wearing a mask and spinning a story about the inevitable repercussions towards friends and family, turns this into one of the best Batman games of all time.
