Ratchet & Clank Collection Announced
The collection will be released in the Spring for Europe and the fall for the North America.
Sony have confirmed the rumors that we will be seeing a Ratchet & Clank HD collection. The collection will be released in the Spring for Europe and the fall for the North America. The collection will include three games Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. All three games are being remastered in 1080p which includes "720p stereoscopic 3D support". In addition, all three games will include Platinum Trophies as well as competitive multiplayer support for Up Your Arsenal. Also, the reason for the delay of the North American version of the game is because Sony has something special planned for the 10th Anniversary of the Ratchet & Clank series. Sony will announce what this "special something" is, in the very near future. Finally the game is being remastered by Idol Minds not Insomniac Games the developers of the Ratchet & Clank series. However, Sony did say that Idol Minds will be working closely with Insomniac Games on the project. I unfortunately have never had the opportunity to play through the Ratchet & Clank series, so I am very much looking forward catching up with the series through this HD collection.
