Red Dead Online: 10 Missing Features Rockstar Must Add
9. Private Sessions
Another thing that Rockstar accomplished with GTA Online was offering private sessions. Some players just prefer to group up alongside their pals and go about the map doing whatever they desire, whether that be looting every person they come across or going about completing various missions to make an earning.
If you've ever tried to do this, you'll know that it's never an easy journey when you're in sessions with other players who are there to do nothing other than cause havoc for others. One of the biggest issues with GTA Online would be when players would cruise around the map in a jet, blowing up whoever they so wished. Thus, these closed friend sessions were a godsend if you just wanted to have a relaxed game with your friends.
Offering these same types of sessions in RDR2 would allow for a much better experience for a) those who just want to enjoy their time online, and b) those who are playing the game for the first time. Those first-timers may not want to dive straight into the online mode right off the bat in fear of being the immediate targets for others.
Not everyone wants to be killed every ten seconds.
