8. Graphics Are Truly Mind-Blowing

While it may be true that graphics don't make the game, what Rockstar have managed to achieve with Red Dead Redemption 2 is truly impressive.

More than most other games from this generation, Red Dead Redemption 2 feels like it's pushing this hardware to the absolute limit.

That's because every single aspect of Red Dead Redemption 2 is meticulously crafted down to the very last detail. Characters are incredibly detailed, environments are full of wildlife and the draw distance is truly amazing. No detail in Red Dead Redemption 2 goes amiss.

As great as all the other details are, it's the lighting has to be the star of Red Dead Redemption 2 though.

Whether it be in the moonlight or the sunrise, lighting is always extremely impressive. Beams of light shine through the trees and paint the floor around Arthur, and it never gets old seeing these effects breathe life into the world.

We thought Grand Theft Auto V was impressive, but this really puts things into perspective.
