Red Dead Redemption 2: 14 Insanely Cool Details You Need To See
12. Dutch's Gang Have A Day And Night Cycle Too
Red Dead Redemption 2's day and night cycle may be inconsistent at times, but daylight and nighttime are rendered immaculately and are both equally a joy to watch. One thing that's just as fun to sit back and look at, however, is what Dutch's gang get up to as the day progresses.
When players get up in the morning, some camp members will still be in their long johns. If they'd been partying particularly hard the night before, they'll get annoyed when Arthur wakes them up. As the hours get on, they'll attend to their chores, engage in conversations, and eventually wind down for an evening of music by the camp fire, or just some dancing.
It's a great touch, and it helps ensure the rest of Dutch's gang retain a sense of believability as a genuine cast of living, breathing characters, as opposed to a selection of automated NPCs with an uncanny routine.
