Fans of Joel and Ethan Coen's O Brother, Where Art Thou? may be quick to point out that the film is set in 1937, 38 years after the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, but the film is still referenced in the game, as one of the many random interactions that perforate the world.

When travelling through the border between Lemoyne and West Elizabeth, players may come across a chain-gang comprised of three individuals. Feigning a fight, they murder the marshals transporting them and take off into the woods to escape, in a similar fashion to how the trio of McGill, Hogwallop and O'Donnell do in the Coen Brothers Depression-era story.

As a side, go watch the film while you're at it. You won't be disappointed!
