13. "Red Dead Online" Is Almost Definitely A Thing
The unprecedented success of GTA Online has made Rockstar shift its focus in recent years. Instead of producing any additional single-player content for the latest Grand Theft Auto, the developers have instead focused on the game's multiplayer mode, continually giving players reasons to jump back into the title as the years have worn on.
Rockstar's publisher Take Two has also repeatedly insisted that there's going to be even more of a focus on the online portions of their games in the future, thanks in no small part to the massive amounts of cash that have come from the microtransactions present in GTA V's multiplayer.
So while it was always obvious that Red Dead Redemption 2 was going to have an expansive online mode, it won't be surprising if it takes even more precedent over the single-player campaign going forward - especially seeing as Take Two have registered 'Red Dead Online' as a domain name.
