9. Dead Eye Is Back (And It's The Version You Want)

It's very easy to forget that although the Dead Eye slow-motion aiming mode was handy and downright badass in the first RDR, there were three different "levels" to unlock across the story. Level 2 in particular - where you assigned targets by "sweeping" over them - was unwieldly and pretty naff, to be honest.

As such, fans wondered just which version of Dead Eye would make it into the new game if we were switching characters, but thankfully it's "level 3", letting you place markers wherever you like on targets before pushing one button to fire every shot at once.

This is just like the original Red Dead Revolver, and besides being a neat callback to that game, is really the only Dead Eye mode we need.
