Red Dead Redemption 2: Ranking Every Town From Worst To Best
8. Lagras
Okay, so there's really only one interactive site in Lagras, and it's a bait shop. That hardly qualifies it as a "town", but qualify it, it does. At least there's no oily water, no cholera, and no Herbert Moon.
Lagras is a small, humble Creole community in the murky swamps of Bayou Nwa, consisting of nothing more than a handful of wooden shacks. There's not much to it, but there's something oddly charming about it. It's the smallest settlement on this list, and it's definitely the least problematic.
It's a self-sustaining community of people who mind their own business, making their living off of the swamp in which they find themselves. There's no trouble to be had in Lagras - unless, of course, you go looking for it.
In the swamps outside of Lagras, though, you'll find the Nite Folk (the goddamn Nite Folk), which adds a bit of eerie fun to the town. As secure as you may feel in the village, you're burdened with the knowledge that once you step outside of its ill-defined boundaries, you'll be at the mercy of... well... whatever the hell the Nite Folk are.
That spookiness gives Lagras a few points.
