Red Dead Redemption 2: Ranking Every Weapon From Worst To Best
9. Knife
With hand-to-hand combat getting re-hauled with a suite of brutal animations, Rockstar's melee combat has never been so appealing since their brawler title The Warriors in 2005. While bare-knuckle brawling is a gritty and versatile way of taking down your enemies, Arthur's fists don't really fit the criteria of a 'weapon'.
However, the player's trusty blade most certainly does.
Best utilised for those straggling enemies that annoy you just that bit too much, players can unleash their inner Michael Myers and hack and slash at enemies in a flurry of gut-wrenchingly visceral animations.
A simple melee weapon that ranks so highly purely for the catharsis in using it in RDR 2's many gory, cinematic brawls. When the chips are down and Arthur is out for blood, you could certainly pick far worse ways to deal with any enemies who cross your path.
