Loveable oaf and chronic alcoholic, we always knew Uncle was going to survive RDR 2, because he's working on John's stable in the original game.

Still, that didn't stop Rockstar having him be kidnapped, or putting him slap-bang in the middle of many arguments surrounding "pulling your weight" for the camp.

Metaphorically, Uncle represents that part of us that just wants to lay about - the freeloading easy-goer who benefits from everyone else getting their hands dirty, just so he can wait for a handout.

Still... he's so brilliantly written, you're glad to have him around.
