After the tumultuous events of the Van Der Linde gang imploding, Trelawny takes off and is never seen again.

Unlike the many characters you can actually track down after the credits, Josiah's fate is as mysterious as his character's role was throughout the game.

Essentially a walking metaphor for the mistrust that comes from addressing those "above" you in a wealth-based hierarchy, when Arthur and Dutch are forced to mix in with a far more aristocratic crowd, the whole scene is both hilarious and illuminating as to the direction of America's upper class.

Still, Trelawny always felt like he had endless irons in the fire we never heard about, and as Dutch's gang falls apart, he simply turns his focus to someone else.
