The first "sub boss" of the Dutch gang as we knew it in the original game, Bill Williamson is revealed in RDR2 to be a former soldier who deserted thanks to attempted murder. Naturally then, he's carried that temper and set of skills into everyday banditry.

Something of the "big dumb thug" archetype, Bill's best bits of banter are saved for the handful of campfire scenes you can trigger, where his military stories and fascination with making money come to the fore.

Later in the canon, Bill would form his own gang (circa 1907-1910), but in Red Dead 2, he's last seen during the final Pinkerton attack, before disappearing altogether.
