Status: Alive

Perhaps the only truly innocent person in the Van der Linde gang is Jack, on account of him being four years old. Still, he sees his fair share of horrors, to the point where Arthur, Abigail and John all want nothing more than to free him from this life and live something resembling normal domestic bliss.

And that kinda happens by the end, as Arthur's sacrifice ensures the three can start afresh, with John winning the affections of his family by going straight, finishing his business with Dutch and building them a ranch where they can live out their days.

Sadly, because Red Dead Redemption 1 exists, we know that happy ending is short lived, and across that game Jack is held hostage, only to watch his father die and end up killing the man responsible.

It's bittersweet; he gets his revenge, but Jack is left alone, transformed into the gunslinger his dad never wanted him to be.
