12. Stop Going For The Head

Another thing to completely rethink, every Resident Evil - and video games overall - have taught us to always go for the head.

They're a guaranteed kill 99% of the time, but unlike the first Resident Evil remake having Crimson Heads that could only be downed with headshots, RE2's zombie heads will devour your ammo stocks.

A better method is an evolution of something RE2 diehards have been doing for years anyway. Just aim for kneecaps or legs in general, and finish off your quarry with a knife. Aiming for the former is your best bet, and even though many zombies will continue their animations (unlike RE4 where they'd stumble instantly) this can be a far better way to conserve ammo and thin the ranks efficiently on higher difficulty.
