Resident Evil 3: 10 Major CHANGES From The Original
1. A Crossover With RE2
Resident Evil 3 is set across a period of three days, with Jill spending much of the first day in the Racoon Police Department. Had she hung out there for the second day she would have run into Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy as that's when they arrive, though you'd never tell that from the games alone.
That's changing this time around.
Shortly after the announcement that Resident Evil 3: Nemesis would be getting remade, a patch added a new achievement/trophy to the RE2 remake. Chasing Jill can be unlocked by finding a letter in Kendo's gun shop that was written by Jill Valentine as she made her way through the city.
More terrifying than that is something that's been added to the new demo of Resident Evil 2. Just as players are starting the demo, they're placed at the entrance of the Raccoon Police Department.
Over to the left and right there are parts of the garden that seem to have had metal girders welded over to keep people out, and approaching the left one triggers a very familiar roar.
One word, five letters; all of which will send a chill down the spines of fans around the world.
"S T A R S".
