Resident Evil 3: 16 Best Secrets You Need To Know

3. Carlos Getting Frustrated

Resident Evil 3 Secrets You Need To See
Capcom

At the hospital, Carlos will find a voice-imprinted door lock right next to a tape recorder. I don't know of anyone who didn't immediately know what they had to do even without the file nearby mentioning a tape of the doctor he's looking for, but Capcom included some extra dialogue for those who get a bit stuck.

Try using anything but the tape recorder and the tape, and Carlos will attempt to open the door by saying "Open sesame."

When that doesn't grant access to the cave of wonders, his next attempt will be an impression of the doctor. "This is Nathaniel Bard," he says hopefully, "Open the door, please."

Even his almost spookily-accurate impression doesn't work and Carlos starts to get angry.

"C'mon, let me in you piece of s#!t!" only leads to the door giving its trademark monotone response.

Carlos finally realizes aloud that he has to use the voice of someone with clearance and the door responds, as it has to everything else, "No voice match found."

Sometimes, like Homer Simpson before him, he's just not that bright.
